RepealedStrutturale & SismicaLegge/DecretoCogente● In review

Superseded — the reference text is now D.P.R. 380/2001. A repealed text may still apply in transition: check the dates before using it.

Summary

TAV. 00

Law 1086 of 5 November 1971 governed structural works in reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete and steel for thirty years: notification of works to the Civil Engineering office, structural works director, static testing, designer and builder responsibilities. Published in Official Gazette No. 321 of 21 December 1971, in force from 5 January 1972, it was repealed by Article 136 of Presidential Decree 380/2001, which absorbed its framework into Part II of the consolidated building act from 30 June 2003. For works built between 1972 and 2003 it remains the reference for reconstructing period notifications and tests.

Scope of application

TAV. 01

All structural works in reinforced/prestressed concrete and steel built during its 1972–2003 validity.

Key points

TAV. K
  • Structural-works notification to the Civil Engineering office and mandatory static testing.
  • Defined the responsibilities of designer, works director and builder.
  • Repealed by Article 136 of Presidential Decree 380/2001: its framework lives on in Part II of the consolidated act.
