L. 46/1990
Rules for the safety of building installations
Summary
TAV. 00Law 46 of 5 March 1990 ("la 46/90") introduced in Italy the requirement of qualified installers and the declaration of conformity for building installations — electrical, gas, water, heating, lifts. Published in Official Gazette No. 59 of 12 March 1990, in force from 13 March 1990, it was almost entirely repealed by Decree-Law 300/2006 (converted by Law 17/2007) with effect from 27 February 2007 — Articles 8, 14 and 16 remain in force — and the discipline was rewritten by Ministerial Decree 37/2008. For installations built between 1990 and 2007 it is the reference for period declarations of conformity.
